If you do make your blog private, I hope very much I am included! =o) I think maybe you should, however, if you want to make sure that only the people who care about you read it. I didn't know you were thinking of making your blog private! Uhm... If you wrote that in one of your latest posts, I think it just didn't register... That happens quite often!
Anyway, I hope you don't. But if you decide to do that anyway, hopefully you will consider me as a good reader. At least I comment here from time to time! :-)
